Darjeeling – located at an elevation of 6700 ft, is a place of immense beauty, stunning views, and extremely friendly and helpful people. The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway is a UNESCO world heritage site and it also has the highest railway station in India which is located at an elevation of 7407 ft. We had a chance to visit this ethereal beauty of a place and though we were not able to get the complete experience of it, it will remain an everlasting memory. Posting few photographs from the trip.
